Yes, you have heard it right. Windows 10 is out with its
first look, basically the preview, which has received a warm welcome. No we
don’t know how much it costs nor we have a clue about when will it be actually available
for sale. But the technical preview is out and one thing that has attracted
millions around the globe is its productivity.
Joe Belfiore, Redmond-based tech giant, have however refused
to make any comments on the technical preview stating that it’s too early for
conclusions of any kind. He added that those major features that have already
being announced are not a part of the preview and hence leave enough scope for
rough spots.
Turning towards the statistics he added, on the company’s
blog post, that 36% of the technical preview users moved in by installing the
operating system on the virtual machines while rest 64% went a step ahead and
installed it on actual PCs.
This figure
hence confirms that the feedbacks and customer reviews are actually based on
actual usage and not just few minutes of test and trials.
There were many onlookers who were expecting changes in
Explorer or in the C-Panel along with Store Apps. However, it is to be noted
that technical preview is all about core features to enable Microsoft
established a confidence in its users that it can manage to bring in balance
the touch, mouse and the keyword without any major glitches.
